On November 3, 2018, the CAST Center for Professional Training and Services, on behalf of the China Association for Science and Technology, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Architects’ Competence Evaluation and Management with the Architect Council of Thailand (ACT). According to the MoU, both sides considered that the competence evaluation standards and evaluation procedures of China and Thailand are substantially equivalent and conform to the international general rules, and agreed to establish a regular exchange and consultation mechanism for the mutual recognition of architects and explore a virtual working conference system.
