On November 8, 2019, the CAST Center for Professional Training and Services and the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) signed the Memorandum of Understanding/Agreement on Deepening Cooperation and Engineering Competence Building. Both sides considered that the General Specification of Competency Assessment for Engineers is substantially equivalent to Pakistan Standards for Registration of Engineers, and would like to facilitate the engineers’ registration procedures of both sides according to the Washington Accord and the International Professional Engineers Agreement under the framework of the International Engineering Alliance (IEA).
